Immanuel is blessed to have Rev. Darrel T. Moen, who formally began his work here in April of 2013. Pastor Moen is a graduate of Fort Wayne Seminary in Indiana. He is married and has three children and five grandchildren. Pastor Moen has a warm, caring, pastoral heart. He is this warm congregation with his skills in teaching them through sermons and Bible study, guiding them in stewardship, and helping the congregation with visitation, personal witnessing, outreach and community involvement. Before becoming a pastor, Rev. Moen had a long and successful background in the technical side of television and radio broadcasting.  At one point he hosted a children's TV program in Saginaw, Michigan. He is using that gift to help us with projection pieces during worship.

We are a small congregation located within the village of East Aurora, New York.
Immanuel Lutheran is a member of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod.

East Aurora is a community of about 6,000 people that is located about 20 miles southeast of Buffalo, New York.  Our community is noted for being the home (the birthplace) of Fisher-Price Toys (now owned by Mattel).  Fisher Price still maintains offices here.  Our community was also the home of President Milliard Fillmore.  His home serves as a museum which is open to the public.
